The coffee is good and the staff were very friendly. I met the owner and he is absolutely an wonderful person. I tried their red velvet cookie today and it is one of the best I’ve tried so far. I would definitely come back as I live in this neighbourhood and recommend my friends to come and try their coffee and cookie.

One of our local cafe's.Had the Aussie Croissant and it was sensational. The AJs Bae Roll is always good.Coffee on point

Lovely place with good coffee. Staff are warm and friendly, and though they can be quite busy, it isn't a very long wait for coffees. Indoor seating is not too crowded. Street parking can be a bit busy but can generally find a spot down the road.Updating this review after another visit for brunch. We had the protein bowl, knafeh crepes, coffees, choc milkshake and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious, staff were fantastic! Only thing I'd ask for is more chicken in the protein bowl, that would have made it perfect. Thank you!!

Amazing food. Brekkie tacos also looked delicious. Food very filling , well presented and tastes amazing. Coffees very strong if you like a strong one. Not much parking around. I say just do it you won’t be disappointed.

The best acai bowls in Sydney!! Seriously, this place is impressive. The kitchen is producing incredibly high standards out its doors. The decor is a bit weird because its loud, feels like a takeaway shop, and not too relaxing, but given the quality of the food it doesn't matter too much. Highly recommend.

Awesome service, reasonable prices. Very tasty food. They aren’t just any old cafe with the usual type of cafe food. They actually thought about what they wanted to serve and compiled a menu with their own ideas and tastes. This is what makes them successful. Their food is not greasy or low quality. I had the fruity pancakes and it was delicious. Those pancakes didn’t taste like they were from a bottle. AJ’s are a breath of fresh air in what can be a quiet area. Very good for a catch up with friends or for a quick cuppa before heading to work. Parking can be difficult as the cafe is on a corner, but you can find a spot on the road most times.
